Chester was baptized at the age of sixteen at Promiseland Church of God and Christ in Osceola, AR. Chester Smith was a strong, proud, and loving man to his children, family and friends. A loving and devoted son that cherished his mother Linda Hodges and was steadfast on making her proud during her life. He enjoyed the peace he had at home with his wife Kiersten and making her smile while looking forward to all the future he had to hold for them by always making plans for their life together. A proud and boastful father of his son Dreamius for getting drafted to play football professionally enjoying a stint in the NFL, going to the casino together “and at most times surprisingly lucky” along with good friend “Ice Tone” was one of his favorite activities. He enjoyed having long conversations with his daughter Shauntara passing on the wisdom and life experiences he had obtained over the years. Spending time with his six grandchildren was his most beloved pastime and the recent birth of his grandson Dreamius “Deuce” JR was the highlight of his life. Chester enjoyed simply sitting on his porch with his many friends and family celebrating each day. Chester was a successful entrepreneur who would not hesitate to help others and the community. He provided school supplies, laptops, and mask for the children during the pandemic and drove the school bus in his spare time. He loved training and breeding pit bulls.
